Hello everyone, this is Brian from team Oreo. Today we had an all work day pretty much. The project is going steady. Jack wasn't with us today but he has been busy making assets for our game in his absence. Joe gave me textures to use for the game today which is really helpful, now i can begin to make the level PRETTY. The level block-out however, is fully complete and was delivered to the teacher today. Everything is still on pace. Once Jack returns we'll begin placing assets in the level. I am going to be working on traps for the level for the time being.

  1. Hey everyone, Joe here. Like Brian said, I gave him a handful of textures for the second milestone and I also dropped in some sketches of the in game HUD, going with different layout ideas, but the overall concept/theme is the same throughout. I could have always made more of each, I gave Brian 9 textures and I drew 13 thumbnails for the HUD. I kind of changed the milestone goals, but I did what Jack wanted me to do this week. I was assigned assets this week according to the concept doc, but like I said, was given textures, and thumbnails to do instead. I will do a couple of assets for the next milestone which is next weekend, some crates, and misc. small objects. So far everything has been running smoothly on my end, neither of my team mates have yet to run into anything big either. So far, everything is working smoothly, our biggest problem is getting objects, not just enemies to damage you for puzzles. I worked on textures and thumbnails like I said earlier, it was managed well I think. The project, if we stay on course, will turn out quite well, since we are also a very solid team, I don't see any part of this project falling through. Until next time everyone.

  2. Jack here, I wasn't able to make it in Saturday, but my team and I know what needs to be done. I have two of the high priority assets done and in the process of being textured. If everything continues to go smoothly, I can start animating them. Joe has some interesting ideas for user interface. I will hand off the models when they're done and we can add them to the engine.
