Game Production Week 6 Blog

Hello again everyone. We finished the first half of our game and we are now underway with the second half. We finished our design document and will turn it in shortly. Since we don't have class next week, because of Thanksgiving. I am about to start working on smaller assets and their textures. I plan to make more and improve upon textures. None of the goals have been changed, we just started assigning goals for the second half of the project. So far, there have not been any problems on my end. Everything is working so far, we are pretty much done planning, and are now implementing. My time spent was sketching up another concept for the character. I really didn't like how the first concept art piece turned out, so I created a new one, and am much more satisfied with it. My team and our project is turning out really well so far, no problems.

  1. Hello. Things couldn't be better. I intended on having a hard time making an elevator work in UDK. However, it was just a matter of thinking about what i already knew. I knew how and just had to focus a couple minutes to process it. With that being said, i made an elevator and have it working properly. Now thats all left to do is have it go back up. Either that or block it upon exiting, so the player cant enter it again. That and finishing the basement blockout is what I'm working on right now.

  2. The new doc is done and we all have our jobs. Joe new concept character is something. I worked on different insignias for Calibur, the main character. I got some ideas for Borderlands, God of War, and Golgo 13. I also started working on secondary collectible assets, Intelligence Gathering. Everything is working well, and we know what we want.
